   Files and email are copied ahead of time, and changes your team makes during the project are picked up before the final switch.

   Cutover and walkthrough

   The switch is planned for a quiet time, usually after hours or a weekend. Files and email are counted against the source, email forwarding and DNS are updated, and I walk your team through the new setup.

What can you move to Microsoft 365?

Files from Dropbox, Box, Google Drive or an old file server go to SharePoint and OneDrive, and email from Google Workspace goes to Microsoft 365.

Will we lose files or email during the migration?

Files and email are counted before and after the move, and anything that doesn't match is fixed before you switch over. The source data isn't deleted as part of the move, and you review the results before the switch.

Do folder permissions and sharing carry over?

Folder structure, permissions and sharing are mapped to SharePoint and OneDrive. Links shared with people outside your company may need to be sent again after the move.

Does my team have to stop working during the move?

Usually not: the move is planned for a quiet time, usually after hours or a weekend, though short interruptions can happen during the switch. Incremental syncs run before the cutover and pick up the changes made during the project.
